Forensic science is the application of scientific principles and methods to support legal decision making in matters of Criminal and civil law. It’s application is increasing day by day in the court of law. It has many branches such as finger prints,  shoe prints, DNA profiling, toxicology, Ballistics and firearm, chromatography. Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Samhita, 2023 is a step forward towards use of forensic science for securing justice.

As former director of CFSL, Hyderabad our consultant has an outstanding experience as forensic scientist. He is awardee of Union Home Minister Medal, Silver Medal of the Governor of Andhra pradesh He has exposure of FBI also.  Mr. Varshney has been associated with preparation of lab manual, Inter Laboratory Comparison Testing, Paper writing, imparting training to police personnel. He has a record of deposing evidence as an expert witness in 21 cases is a span of three days in the court of law. Mr. Varshney has published/ presented 44 Papers in national & international journals/ conferences.
